Guards find MPR sessions boring
Security guards have found the ten-day Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly simply boring. Most of the time they just sit around with nothing to do, except when there are rallies.
Fortunately, there are a few ways to chase away the boredom resulting from inactivity. On Thursday, for example, security guards, still clad in their green uniforms, played soccer in the field at the rear of the Assembly building.
They became more enthusiastic when a television crew took a few shots of their game.
Besides playing soccer, the officers spent their time in front of the TV monitors installed outside the mini studios of several TV stations at the lobby of the MPR building. Mostly they watched soap operas. --JP
