Guards arrest two burglars

JAKARTA: Security guards at PT Trakindo Utama in Cilandak, South Jakarta, arrested two men who broke into the company offices and attempted to steal two laptop computers on Wednesday night.

Police said on Thursday that the suspects -- identified as TR, 30, a resident of Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, and RS, 26, who lives in Buaran, East Jakarta -- were caught red-handed by the security guards carrying a crowbar and the two laptop computers.

At about 11:30 p.m., the patrolling security guards spotted the two men inside the office building. The door had been forcibly opened.

The guards handed over the suspects to Cilandak Police for further questioning. -- JP
