Gray and Gold

Gray and gold

Are her colors tonight.

She is wrapped in chiffon

And grew tulle.

At her right the

Setting sun salutes

Her majesty in

Glorious golden tones.

Now she stands behind

A veil, hiding her splendor.

How to portray naked pain

Naked

without shades of sadness

without shades of loneliness

without shades of sickness

Naked

like I have seen man sing it

like I have seen music sound it

like I have seen words cry it

How can one paint it naked

only with lines, dots or colors?
