JAKARTA: National Police chief Da'i Bachtiar, Attorney General M.A. Rachman and State Minister for Administrative Reform Feisal Tamin will hold a meeting at the latter's office on Wednesday to discuss measures against corruption.

Feisal told reporters after a meeting with Vice President Hamzah Haz on Tuesday that combating corruption needed the participation of all elements of the nation and moral integrity on the part of state officials.

"We also discussed with the Vice President the need to set specific criteria for civil service promotions and ways to measure the effectiveness of the bureaucracy. The details will be discussed later," Feisal said.

Also present at the meeting with Hamzah were State/Cabinet Secretary Bambang Kesowo, and the National Intelligence Agency's chief A.M Hendropriyono. -- JP
