Govt provides land for police posts

TANGERANG: Tangerang Mayor Wahidin Halim revealed on Tuesday
that his administration has provided land in several districts to
build police posts, Antara reported.

The designated locations are in Karang Tengah, Karawaci,
Cibodas, Pinang, Periuk and Larangan districts.

He said that the current police precincts were insufficient
for the vast and densely populated area.

Wahidin asserted that the administration would not bear the
cost of construction. -- JP
