Govt has not done enough

There is a disturbing mistake in my article "Prevention key to public order" published by The Jakarta Post Feb. 16.

In the eighth paragraph it is written: It should be admitted that so far the government has done enough to put an end to the social, political and economic gap between wealthy Indonesians of Chinese origin, who are dominant in economic activities, on one side, and the relatively poor indigenous, on the other.

It should have been written: It should be admitted that so far the government has not done enough to put an end to the social, political and economic gap between wealthy Indonesians of Chinese origin, who are dominant in economic activities, on one side, and the relatively poor indigenous, on the other.
