JAYAPURA, Papua: The Jayapura Immigration Office has deported three foreigners for visa violations in the past week, an official said on Saturday.

One is from Japan, another from Sri Lanka and the third from the People's Republic of China.

The three had visas for trainers and/or speakers at seminars, but they were discovered by immigration officials to be engaged in the trading of cars and watches, said Tarsudi Gulon, the head of the office. -- JP
