Governor OKs police probe

KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: East Nusa Tenggara Governor Piet A.
Tallo issued a permit on Monday to allow the police to question
the speaker of the Kupang municipal council, Dominggus Bolla, and
eight other councillors at the municipal council.

The councillors will be questioned after being accused of
embezzling monies earmarked for the Kupang municipal secretariat
amounting to Rp 3 billion (US$333,333). -- JP
