Governor approves graft investigation

KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Governor
Piet Tallo has finally approved the police's investigation of 18
NTT council members who have been charged with involvement in
corruption.

The letter of approval was signed by the governor on Jan. 13,
said Yos Mamulak, NTT provincial administration governance
division head, on Tuesday.

One was being charged with using a fake school diploma, while
the remaining 17 were being investigated on graft charges, he
