Some years after famous car thief Memphis Raines (Cage) left his life of crime behind, little brother Kip (Ribisi) decides to take up the offer left by his big brother's legacy.

When Kip screws up a grand theft auto and costs his boss dozens of stolen cars, Memphis is forced to get back into the 'boosting' business and steal 50 luxurious cars in quick time or his brother dies.

Jerry Bruckheimer's production offers good looks plus some great car chases but ignores the necessary depth in characters, most critics said of the film.

With an excellent cast plus the director who made the critically acclaimed thriller Kalifornia, the film is a waste of some prolific talents.
