Golden Truly to open more Super Stores

JAKARTA (JP): The local retail giant Golden Truly will open Super Stores this year in Menteng, Central Jakarta, and Bekasi, West Java, company president HE Dachlan said Saturday.

Dachlan said, at a ceremony to give Rp 250 million to a lucky customer, the Menteng Super Store would open in the middle of this year and the Bekasi outlet would open at the end of this year, Antara reported.

Dachlan said the outlets would cost about Rp 800,000 for every square meter of floor space: "But calculations have not been completed."

He said the Menteng store would occupy a 7,600 square-meter plot and the Bekasi store would occupy a 24,000 square-meter plot.

Asked about Golden Truly's preparations for the coming Ramadhan fasting month and Idul Fitri festivities, Dachlan said: "Stocks are adequate. There will be no increase in prices. We guarantee." (sur)
