Ginandjar, looking good!

I would like to congratulate Ginandjar on his miraculous recovery! It appears that he no longer requires the wheelchair, or perhaps the life support machine and intravenous drips that prevented him from turning up at the Attorney General's Office a couple of months ago to answer charges of corruption.

The debilitating sickness that we witnessed only a short while ago is no longer apparent and Ginandjar seems to be in top health. He punches the air with his fist, sits for long, tedious hours in front of the members of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and shows no signs of relapse. Is he in remission perhaps?

We are all impressed by his resilience and hope that now Megawati has become president, the attorney general will be able to ask Ginandjar over for a chat while he's enjoying such a remarkable good health. The attorney general should perhaps bear in mind that these bouts of good health are generally only temporary among the Indonesian elite and are usually followed by prolonged terminal illness and even senility. So...strike while the iron's hot!
