Germany trains RI on tax, finance
YOGYAKARTA: Two German government-supported organizations, GTZ (Gesellschaft fur technische Zusammenarbeit) and InWEnt (Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung gGmbH) are holding a four-day training seminar on taxes, financial management and the business climate for 30 provincial administration officials, starting on Monday.
Team Leader of InWEnt's South East Asia Capacity Building team Richard Ratka said InWEnt and GTZ planned to hold two training sessions per year over the next three years.
The program is focusing on the identification of structural differences between financial management systems and approaches in both Indonesia and Germany; the consideration of feasible applications of management policies and practices at provincial and national levels and the identification of capacity development in the public sector. -- JP
