German soccer

As a long-time subscriber to your basically excellent paper I do have one complaint. Apparently German soccer, but also other sports events in Germany, only play a minor role in your reporting, whereas reports on convicted criminals like Mr. Tyson or drug addicts like Maradona always feature prominently. Beside that, there are many other reports of very limited interest to your readers, at least I believe so.

I do realize that the English, Italian and some other national Soccer Federations are more active in their PR work than the DFB (German Soccer Federations). However, results and reports about the German first and second divisions are surely available in greater detail than being exposed in your paper.

I am neither overly nationalistic nor am I a soccer fanatic. Still, I would like to be kept informed, through your reports, about all results and league table positions of the main divisions of German soccer.

After all, I am speaking on behalf of quite a few readers. I am looking forward to improved reporting.
