German aid for RI
JAKARTA (JP): Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau, a German financial institution, will provide DM 65 million (about US$39.07 million) in loans to Indonesia for healthcare, education and resource protection.
The agency said on Friday that DM 23 million would be used to finance a healthcare program in East Nusa Tenggara,
Another DM 24 million is earmarked for the Ministry of Education and Culture to improve elementary school science instruction.
A further DM 10 million will be used in the form of medicines, drinking water purification stations and equipment for fighting forest fires. The remaining DM 8 million will finance studies and expert assignments to prepare future projects. (29)
