General Harseno publishes biography

Former Jakarta Military Commander Maj. Gen. (ret.) K. Harseno, who is currently inspector general of development, celebrated the publishing of his biography at a ceremony at his mansion in Ceger, East Jakarta late last week.

Entitled Kepemimpinan dan Nilai-Nilai Kehidupan Yang Wajar or "Leadership and the Value of a Commendable Life", the launching of the book, which features the life of the retired two-star general, coincided with the birthday of his son, Daniel Sutrisno.

The 3,000 copies of the biography were distributed by Harseno to his friends and visitors free of charge.

A number of prominent people, including Chief of Staff of the Jakarta Military Commander Brig. Gen. Wiranto, Armed Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Syarwan Hamid and other senior military officers, attended the ceremony. (has)
