Gen. Edi visits Irian Jaya

JAYAPURA, Irian Jaya: Minister of Defense and Security Gen. (ret) Edi Sudradjat and his entourage arrived here yesterday for a two-day official visit.

He is scheduled to attend a meeting and a Christmas celebration for the Armed Forces (ABRI) and local people, Irian Jaya administration spokesman, said FX Suryanto, reported Antara yesterday. (swe)
