GE opens sales academy

JAKARTA: Financing firm GE Finance Indonesia on Thursday opened its Consumer Finance Sales Academy to meet its need for qualified salespersons.

"By having professional and reliable salespersons, we hope we can provide better service to our customers," CEO Harry Sasongko said when opening the academy.

For the time being, the academy, which is open to the public, accommodates those from the Greater Jakarta area and GE has targeted to graduate about 1,000 salespersons. In the near future, the company will open two other academies in Bandung and Surabaya. -- JP
