Garuda offers delivery service

JAKARTA (JP): National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia launched
an express delivery service to 10 major cities across the country
and Singapore.

The firm's commercial director, Sudarso Kaderi, said Garuda
Express Delivery would emphasize "speed, accuracy and customers'
satisfaction".

"Just pick up the telephone, and we will pick up the package
and deliver it to the destination," Sudarso said.

It offers overnight, same-day and holiday services.

In its first stage, he said, the service would cover the
cities of Jakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Medan, Batam,
Pekanbaru, Ujungpandang, Manado and Bandung. (aly)
