Gambling machines confiscated

JAKARTA: Ciledug Police officers confiscated on Saturday dozens of gambling machines, including roulette games, cards and jackpot machines from several gambling dens in the Tangerang subdistrict.

Ciledug sub-precinct chief Adj. Comr. UA Triyanto said all of the machines would be destroyed shortly to show that Ciledug police were serious about eradicating gambling in their area.

"We have searched three subdistricts and found the machines. We will continue to raid gambling dens here. All of the machines will be gathered at the Tangerang Police headquarters to be destroyed," he said. --Antara
