Gambling and prostitution

Gambling and prostitution: It's not correct to mix both activities. In many places, prostitutes are not tolerated in casinos.

Operating a casino is not a mafia business... it's a business handled by real highly professional businessmen who operate under very strict government rules.

In France, for instance, a casino can be closed without warning in case of any irregularity. Why are municipalities so eager to have a casino, even a small one? Just because of the taxes paid by the operators which will lighten the burden of the taxpayer.

Now, as far as the moral aspects are concerned, citizens in a democracy are free to make choices ... whether gambling is legalized or not, a man who likes gambling will gamble anyway, and the state will lose valuable resources, in addition to the fact that the police could be used for other activities, such as guaranteeing everybody's security.
