Gadjah Tunggal's profit up

JAKARTA (JP): PT Gadjah Tunggal recorded a 28 percent increase
in its profit to Rp 50 billion (US$22 million) in the first six
months of this year.

The company announced in a statement yesterday that the profit
increase was contributed to the rapid growth in sales, which
generated Rp 47 billion in revenues in the January-June period.

Consolidated sales reached Rp 325 billion in the first half of
1995, up by 50 percent over the same period of last year. (pwn)
