JAKARTA: Aetna Life Indonesia is providing a scholarship
program called "Aetna Siswa" to help top ranking university
students cope with the rising cost of studying.
The program kicks off with scholarships to 30 students from
three universities in Java. Aetna will provide a total of Rp 100
million to the selected students during the course of their
studies.
The scholarships were presented to students from Diponegoro
University in Semarang and Sebelas Maret University in Surakarta,
both Central Java, and in the near future scholarships will be
given to university students in Malang, East Java.
The company said in a statement that they had plans to expand
the scholarship program.
Aetna Life is one of the world's leading providers of
insurance and financial services. It has a worldwide network,

customers. The company began its operations here in 1995.
