Fuel supply for holidays adequate

CILACAP, Central Java: The state-owned oil and gas company
Refinery Unit in Cilacap will not increase its fuel and oil
production ahead of the Christmas, Idul Fitri and New Year
holidays as its daily production would be adequate, an official
says.

Husni Banser, head of public relation department of Pertamina
Cilacap, said on Wednesday that the daily production of 6,200
tons of premium 6,600 tons of kerosene and 7,300 tons of
automotive diesel fuel would be adequate.

"People should not be worried about lacking fuel or kerosene
during the holidays. We calculate that the daily production will
meet the demand. However, as soon as we learn that the demand is
getting higher, we will make any adjustment by increasing our
production," Husni said, adding that Pertamina Cilacap
distributed most of its products to Java Island. (45)
