Frogs in restaurants

Aux armes, citoyens! The advertisement for the Margaux Restaurant which appeared on the front page of the Sept. 24 edition of The Jakarta Post and featured a full-length sketch of Chef Jean Michel Diot with the caption "These are the only frog's legs you will find at Margaux Restaurant," is offensive to French lovers and frog lovers alike.

One would think that in this age of political correctness (not to mention advocacy of animal rights), advertisers would be more sensitive to the nuances of such national stereotyping.
