Having read the letter (The Jakarta Post, July 22, 1995) from the French Ambassador regarding correct protocol on a day that symbolizes French human rights and democracy, I would just like to ask His Excellency what is correct protocol for the peoples of the Pacific area to voice their outrage at his government's denial of their human rights and democracy?
