French musician to perform at TIM

JAKARTA: One of French best musicians, Enzo Enzo, will perform at the Graha Bhakti Budaya of the Taman Ismail Marzuki Arts Center in Central Jakarta this Saturday.

Enzo, whose real name is Korin Ternovtzelf, won the best female singer and best song awards during the Victoires de la Musique in 1995.

After her debut album in 1990 titled Enzo Enzo, the singer with melancholic jazzy tunes soon won the people's hearts. She launched her second album Deux in 1994, and the third Oui, which had the retro nuances, in 1997. She then toured to Germany, Poland, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Vietnam.

Her last album, Le jeour d'a cote, was issued in October 2001, was a big success. --JP
