Free the birds

There has been a steady increase in the number of trees in the capital city these past few years. This has attracted more and more birds.

We must thank the Jakarta mayoralty for its awareness of the environment.

I would appeal to hunters to leave the birds alone. Jakarta's "greening" program will experience many difficulties if the birds fall victim to hunters.

I would also ask bird fanciers to free them. Some people have already done so in Senayan and Monas areas.
