Franchising to be discussed

JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Cooperatives and Small Enterprises
Subiakto Tjakrawerdaya is scheduled to open a three-day
franchising workshop at the end of this month.

The workshop, entitled "Pan Asian Franchising", will discuss
the prospects of franchising in Indonesia as it is recognized as
one of the fastest ways for economic development.

In addition to Subiakto, and other local speakers, the
workshop will also present foreign speakers, such as Ron Mullers
of the Ponderosa Group, Tan Thuan Seng of Franchise Technology
and Gary Seibert of Kidsport International. (rid)
