Four killed in landslide

BANDA ACEH, Aceh: Four residents of Bantan Cuaca, in Rikit Gaib district, were reportedly killed when a landslide occurred following heavy rains.

Antara reported that another three people were missing following the landslide which occurred late Tuesday evening.

The head of the social affairs office in southeast Aceh said a search was being conducted for the missing three.

Bantan Cuaca village is inhabited by 300 families. The village is located on an incline between two hills. (mds)
