Four firms may be delisted

JAKARTA (JP): The Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) has threatened to delist four companies if they do not submit their audited December 1999 financial statements to the JSX by the end of this week.

JSX said in a statement on Tuesday it would make a necessary evaluation of each company before delisting them.

"We will announce the result of the evaluation within days," said Yose Rizal, JSX head of company surveillance.

The four companies under the delisting threat are PT Bintuni Minaraya, PT Daya Guna Samudra, the now insolvent PT Dharmala Sakti Sejahtera and PT Super Mitory Utama. (udi)
