Foundation builds 800 mosques

LOMBOK, West Nusa Tenggara: The Yayasan Amal Bhakti Muslim
Pancasila Foundation, chaired by President Soeharto, has built
807 mosques across the country, Minister of Transmigration
Siswono Yudohusodo said here Monday evening.

Each mosque cost between Rp 200 million and Rp 250 million, he
said, adding that 12 of the 807 mosques were built in the
province of West Nusa Tenggara.

Antara reported that Siswono attended the dedication of the
foundation's mosque in Pelabuhan Lembar, West Lombok. (swe)
