Forging ties with RI's business community

ABN AMRO Bank is distinguished through a large international
network. With a network of more than 1,880 branches in 71
countries, it ranks among the biggest networks worldwide.

ABN AMRO's international operations are targeted at major
centers in the international market, where substantial trade
flows already exist or are expected to develop.

In Asia, its network of offices and branches is geared to
satisfy the needs of its clients both in cross-border and local
banking transactions, ranging from traditional commercial lending
and trade finance to a full range of treasury as well as
investment activities and consumer banking.

ABN AMRO Bank in Indonesia dates back to the very origin of
the bank, following the trade routes of the Dutch merchant ships
of the last century. The bank was founded in 1824, and soon after
began its first operations in Batavia (Jakarta) as the
Netherlands Trading Society, in 1826.

Now, it has one main branch and five offices in Jakarta and
branches in Bandung, Surabaya and Medan. More branches are
planned for Semarang, Surakarta, Denpasar and Manado. ABN AMRO
Bank serves both individual clients, that is professionals,
entrepreneurs and executives; as well as corporate clients, that
is multinational, Indonesian private and state-owned
corporations.

The bank offers both retail and corporate product ranges:
consumer banking, retail capital market products (ShareShop),
trade finance, structured finance, treasury, custodial services,
corporate cash management, securities, as well as leasing,
factoring and venture capital.
