Forex reserves reach $28.13b
JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves rose again on the week ending on Oct. 6 to US$28.13 billion from $28.09 billion in the previous week, according to Bank Indonesia.
The central bank attributed the rise in the forex reserves to revenues from oil exports.
The amount of primary money comprising of bank notes in circulations and reserves placed by commercial banks at the central bank, rose Rp 97.86 trillion from Rp 97.098 trillion in the previous week, the bank said.
Money in circulation increased slightly to Rp 66.43 trillion from Rp 65.56 trillion.(hen)
