Forex reserves fall to $27.45b

JAKARTA (JP): Bank Indonesia said on Monday that the country's
foreign exchange reserves in the fourth week of August fell by
US$175.80 million to $27.45 billion compared to the previous
week.

The central bank said in a statement that the decline was
mostly due to the repayment of foreign debt during the period.

increased by Rp 3.46 trillion to Rp 94.41 trillion. (rei)
