Foreigners caught working illegally

BENGKULU, Bengkulu: Head of the provincial justice office Nurdin Nursin said two Australian nationals found working illegally here will be sent to the West Jakarta municipality, which is the destination stated in their passports.

Antara reported yesterday that Matthew Brece Penny (23) and John Edward Allen (47) were found working at a local coal mining company two weeks ago. Nurdin said the two men had immigration documents which said that they were employed at a Jakarta branch of a Balikpapan-based company.

The foreigners entered Bengkulu in March. (swe)
