Foreigners allowed to visit Aceh

ACEH, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam: State of civil emergency administrator and Governor Abdullah Puteh issued a permit for foreign tourists to visit Simelue and Aceh Singkil, as the two regencies are now considered safe.

"In the past, foreigners were allowed to visit only Sabang. However, as security conditions in Aceh Singkil and Simelue are improving, we can now issue permits," he said on Thursday.
