Food festival at Gran Mahakam

JAKARTA (JP): Hotel Gran Mahakam in South Jakarta will launch
an Indonesian food festival, fashion show and painting exhibition
to commemorate Indonesia's Independence Day on Aug. 17.

Hotel guests will be able to enjoy the Around the Archipelago
Indonesian food festival, featuring traditional cuisine from
various provinces, from Aug. 12 to Aug. 19.

The fashion show on Aug. 19 at the hotel's Le Gran Cafe will
present the work of Indonesian designer Poppy Dharsono, while the
painting exhibition will include local artists Benny Setiawan,
Basuki Priyambodo and Yulie Indra Setyohadi.

Hotel Gran Mahakam is managed by the French-based hotel chain
Accor Asia Pacific. (cst)
