Fontana joins Sauber

BUENOS AIRES: Argentine driver Norberto Fontana, 22, has replaced Italian Gianni Morbidelli in the Sauber F1 team. Morbidelli fractured his arm in a testing accident last week.

Fontana joins team leader Johnny Herbert as the team's fourth driver this year.

Morbidelli had driven just two races for Sauber after replacing the disappointing Nicola Larini.

Both Fontana and Prost's Jarno Trulli will race for their new teams in this weekend's French GP.
