Flyover construction

From Neraca

My complaint may be shared by many other road users. The construction of the flyover connecting Jl. Pramuka and Jl. Matraman in Jakarta seems to be taking a very long time.

Major parts of the road are out of commission, debris is everywhere, and the roads are full of potholes. All this has resulted in a real slowdown of traffic.

The Jakarta government, and the Ministry of Public Works, should reprimand the management and the contractor, who obviously care little about security and safety. They should also say something about when the project is to be completed. It has been delayed far too long. Apart from this, the traffic light at the crossroads is malfunctioning. The light seems stuck on red, switching to red for just a second at a time.

We hope that the Directorate of Traffic and Highways (DLLAJR) and the Metro Jaya Traffic Police can repair the traffic light soon.
