Flower park to have playground
JAKARTA (JP): The Nusantara flower park in the mountain resort of Cipanas will open a four-hectare playground tomorrow in conjunction with its first anniversary.
The 35-hectare park in the Cianjur regency, West Java, was originally built by the late Mrs. Tien Soeharto.
The playground is to have 10 new facilities and the Kumba Express, a mini train that will be inaugurated by the wife of the vice president, Mrs. Tuty Try Sutrisno.
A park press release said the train originates from the 19th century.
The playground area will be closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays, unless a national holiday falls on one of the days, the release said.
The park will be open to the public starting at 2 p.m. on Sept. 10. (anr)
