Five establishments closed down

JAKARTA (JP): The city public order office has closed down five entertainment centers for seven days for violating opening- hour regulations during Idul Adha.

The head of the entertainment department of the city public order office, Toha Reno, said yesterday that the centers are the Kristal Nefonda and Amigos pubs in Kemang, South Jakarta, Maduma a live music club in Jl. Gajah Mada, Central Jakarta.

The governor instructed all entertainment centers to close for three days from April 28 to 30 to respect the celebration of Idul Adha, the Islamic Day of Sacrifice.

Toha also said that his office had given a stern warning to the management of Hai Lai restaurant at the Ancol dreamland, North Jakarta following a police drugs raid there last week. (yns)
