Fishermen, beware of stolen pants

LARANTUKA, East Nusa Tenggara (JP): Fisherman Michael Musi kept losing his pants while he was away at sea until he struck a brilliant idea to catch the thief last week.

The 65-year-old man put 10 scorpions inside a pair of pants, which he hung on a clothesline outside his house.

The next day he found the culprit: Barnabas, a fisherman from the same village.

Amused neighbors said the 70-year-old Barnabas had screamed painfully and dropped the stolen pants while putting them on as the scorpions stung his member and buttocks.

Barnabas had to uneasily stare at the ceiling of his house for five days before he was up to going fishing in his own scorpion- free pants. (yac/pan)
