Fire destroys houses in Koja

JAKARTA: Fire destroyed at least three houses on Jl. Duku
Barat, Koja, North Jakarta, on Wednesday evening. No fatalities
were reported.

The fire started at about 7:50 p.m. in one house, before
spreading to the neighboring houses.

Fourteen fire trucks and crews eventually brought the blaze
under control. The firefighters were still examining the cause of
the fire. -- JP
