Fewer people visit safari park

BOGOR: The Indonesian Safari Park in Cisarua, Bogor, saw a decrease in the number of visitors during this year's Idul Fitri holiday from last year.

Park spokesman Yulius said the park recorded about 40,000 visitors, or between 5 percent and 10 percent less than last year.

He said the number of visitors might have decreased because of an increase in the park's entrance fee. Last year the entrance fee was Rp 20,000, compared to Rp 25,000 this year. --JP
