Ferry crashes into tanker

SERANG, West Java: A "Super Jet" ferry carrying 42 passengers across the Sunda Strait from Merak to Bakauheni crashed into a tanker on Tuesday.

Despite extensive damage, the "Super Jet-3" continued its journey to the Bakauheni port in Lampung and all passengers were brought to shore safely, Antara reported. (anr)
