Ferrari pulls out of Big Apple

Ferrari has decided that it doesn't need a sales outlet in New York, America's financial capital and largest city. However, attempts to close the Kessler Motor Cars Manhattan outlet, owned by Steven Kessler, have ended up in court.

Kessler claims Ferrari is trying to ruin his business. Kessler Ferrari is one of the top 15 Ferrari dealers in the U.S. and last year sold about US$9 million worth of Italian exotica. Ferrari's official line is that rents are too high in the Big Apple and the streets too crowded for test drives.
