Female employee found dead

JAKARTA (JP): A 23-year-old woman was found dead with severe
stab wounds in the neck Saturday in a workshop on Jl. Tanjung
Duren Utara, West Jakarta.

The body of Suprihartini, a clerk of the shop, was found by a
friend, Nova, in the shop's kitchen, Sgt. Mulyono of the Tanjung
Duren police subprecinct said Saturday.

"We are still investigating the case. We are also using a
police dog to trace the killer," Mulyono said.

He said the victim, her sister Supriatin, Nova and three other
employees lived in the shop.

Police assume friends of the victim may be involved in the
killing.

Purwanto, the victim's boyfriend, said he was to marry
Suprihartini next year.

Purwanto said he called the victim Friday evening to ask her
out for a weekend date. "But this morning I was informed of her
death," he said at The Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital's
morgue. (jun)
