Fast Food 3Q net profit up
JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed PT Fast Food Indonesia, which is the franchise holder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, said on Thursday that its third quarter net profit for this year rose to Rp 18.78 billion (US$1.99 million at the current exchange rate) from Rp 17.09 billion last year.
Fast Food attributed the profit growth to higher sales income, which rose to Rp 292.28 billion from Rp 258.86 billion last year.
During that period, the company recorded Rp 258.14 billion in food sales, Rp 33.9 billion in beverage sales and Rp 228.35 million in sales of other items.
Fast Food is 44 percent owned by PT Gelael Pratama, 36 percent by PT Megah Eraharja, 1 percent by the company's cooperatives and 20 percent by the public. (bkm)
