LONDON: Motor racing has always attracted its share of "personalities", and a number of them have ended up behind bars.

The latest to join the list are Jean-Pierre Van Rossem, the former owner of the Onyx F1 team, who has been jailed for five years for fraud, and former Stewart GP employee Richard Tomlinson, who is a former British spy.

Tomlinson has been jailed for a year under Britain's Official Secrets Act because he planned to write a book about being sacked by the Secret Service two years ago and revealed just a little too much in his synopsis.
